Job Title: Guidewire PolicyCenter – Lead Configuration/Integration Developer

Job Summary/Objective:
As a Guidewire PolicyCenter Configuration/Integration Specialist, you will play a critical role in the successful implementation and configuration of Guidewire PolicyCenter for our P&C Insurance clients. You will be responsible for customizing and integrating the PolicyCenter application to meet specific business requirements, ensuring a seamless policy administration process. Your expertise in Guidewire PolicyCenter, along with your ACE certification and preferable experience with the Guidewire Cloud Platform, will be instrumental in delivering high-quality solutions that drive efficiency and excellence in policy management.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and project managers to gather and
analyse business requirements related to policy management functionalities.
- Utilize your extensive knowledge of Guidewire PolicyCenter to configure, customize, and
integrate the application to meet specific client needs and project objectives.
- Possess development experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter and demonstrated expertise
in implementing GW products from inception through to full implementation.
- Skilled in Guidewire Rating Engine, Activity Assignment, Rules Framework, and
Workflows.
- Provide guidance and review development work related to Rapid Product Design (APD),
Configuration, Business Rules, and Data Model Creation.
- Create and conduct unit testing of business rules using Product Designer and the rules
engine within Guidewire Studio.
- Familiarity with Guidewire Testing (GT) Framework.
- Experience in configuring and customizing rules, events, pcf’s and entity changes on all
policy transactions.
- Knowledge configuring UW rules, Forms, Document templates, rate changes.
- Lead and participate in the design, development, and implementation of policy
administration rules, workflows, and product definitions within the Guidewire
PolicyCenter.
- Perform hands-on configuration tasks to ensure the successful deployment of policy-
related functionalities and enhancements.
- Provide technical support and expertise in troubleshooting and resolving configuration-
related issues.
- Conduct system testing and quality assurance activities to validate the accuracy and
functionality of the configured policy management systems.
- Collaborate with the Guidewire Cloud Platform team to leverage cloud-based capabilities
and ensure seamless integration with PolicyCenter.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Guidewire technologies, insurance
industry practices, and regulatory changes that impact policy administration.
- Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions and contribute to the continuous improvement
of our policy management solutions.
- Previous involvement in large-scale policy administration system implementations is a
plus.
- Design, develop, and implement policy integration solutions to enable the seamless flow
of policies across different systems and applications.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand policy requirements and translate them into
effective integration solutions.
- Work closely with other developers and IT teams to integrate policy solutions into existing
systems and applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, ensuring the stability and reliability of the
integrated systems.
- Ensure that policy integration solutions adhere to regulatory compliance and security
standards.
- Implement security measures to safeguard policy data and prevent unauthorized access.
- Create comprehensive documentation for policy integration solutions, including design
documents, implementation guides, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Proven experience as a Policy Integration Developer or similar role.
Experience:
- Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience in configuring/intragration Guidewire PolicyCenter for P&C Insurance clients.
- Guidewire Cloud Platform experience is highly desirable.
- Proficient in Guidewire configuration/Integration tools, frameworks, and Guidewire studio.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with stakeholders and team members.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality work.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- ACE certification in Guidewire PolicyCenter.
