Mr. Black is an insurance executive with over 40 years’ experience in the global insurance market.
Having embarked on his career as an actuarial student, he later transitioned to IT and ascended to the position of CIO twice, overseeing both a multinational division of a diversified carrier and a NYSE-listed commercial lines carrier. Alongside managing insurance operations and marketing departments, he spent nearly a decade at HCL leading their Global Insurance Practice. Now at the helm of his advisory firm, Black Asset Group, he guides carriers in cloud transformation, data strategy, AI adoption, and the strategic repurposing of Mainframes, with a distinguished clientele including MetLife, Allianz, USAA, Canopius, Tokio Marine, and Great Eastern Life.
