Job Summary/Objective:
We are looking for a Guidewire ClaimCenter Configuration and Integration Lead with extensive experience in configuring and integrating the Guidewire platform, particularly ClaimCenter, to meet business and claims management needs. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the configuration, customization, and integration of the Guidewire platform with external systems. In this role, you will play a crucial part in optimizing claims workflows, ensuring seamless integration, and leveraging the capabilities of the Guidewire Cloud Platform (GWCP), where applicable.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, understand, and analyze business requirements for claims management processes, with a focus on technical integration and configuration.
- Lead the configuration and customization of the Guidewire ClaimCenter platform to align with business needs, including the development of claims handling rules, workflows, and product definitions.
- Design, develop, and implement integration solutions between Guidewire ClaimCenter and external systems using SOAP, REST, and other web service frameworks.
- Manage data transformation, mapping, and API configurations to ensure smooth data flow between Guidewire and external systems.
- Oversee hands-on configuration and integration tasks, including data model development, business logic (rules) development, PCF screen (user interface) customization, and the development of enhancements using Gosu.
- Ensure seamless integration with third-party systems such as policy administration, billing, and document management systems.
- Collaborate with the Guidewire Cloud Platform team to effectively implement cloud-based capabilities and facilitate integrations with external cloud systems.
- Lead the development of unit tests, system tests, and functional tests using the Guidewire Testing (GT) framework to ensure quality and stability.
- Conduct and participate in code reviews, providing technical insights and mentoring junior team members.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to configuration and integration tasks, providing ongoing support and improvements.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and integration methodologies to ensure the best practices are applied.
Experience:
- Minimum 5-6 years of experience in Guidewire ClaimCenter configuration and integration, with hands on experience in Gosu scripting, Guidewire XML, XSD, and SOAP/REST web services.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing integration solutions between Guidewire ClaimCenter and external systems.
- Familiarity with Guidewire Cloud Platform (GWCP) is highly desirable.
- Expertise in Guidewire Data Model, Rules Development, PCF Screen Development, and Integration Layer Customization.
- Strong understanding of ClaimCenter product implementation from inception to deployment.
- Solid understanding of Guidewire Studio, configuration tools, and integration frameworks.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- ACE certification in Guidewire ClaimCenter.
