Job Summary/Objective:

 We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Guidewire Claims Business Analyst with 3-5 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance domain processes and hands-on experience with Guidewire ClaimCenter. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders, developers, and QA teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure successful implementation of Guidewire ClaimCenter modules.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and document business requirements for Guidewire ClaimCenter implementations and upgrades
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements specific to Claims processes.
  • Analyze and evaluate current Claims processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop detailed functional specifications and user stories for Guidewire ClaimCenter configurations.
  • Work closely with developers to ensure that technical solutions align with business needs.
  • Nurture robust relationships with Client-side and cross-functional teams to understand customer pain points and translate them into actionable user stories
  • Participate in the design and configuration of Guidewire ClaimCenter modules to meet business requirements.
  • Collaboratively work closely with business product owners, architects, actuaries, developers and testers to ensure the solution is built in accordance to defined requirements
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their claims processes and translate them into Guidewire configurations
  • Provide training and support to end-users on Guidewire ClaimCenter functionality
  • Stay up-to-date with Guidewire product updates and industry best practices
  • Participate in client meetings and presentations to discuss project progress and solutions
  • Ability to work in the global delivery model and be a liaison between the client and software development team situation across different geographies
  • Experience in working in a fast paced Agile (Scrum / SAFe) and multiple stakeholder environments

Experience:

  • Excellent domain knowledge in Property & Casualty Insurance to understand and analyze the business needs of the customer
  • Expertise in creating functional specifications in the form of User Stories, process flows, use cases, data mappings
  • Experienced in gathering, defining and organizing business and functional requirements – including acceptance criteria for use by developers and testers to implement and test a functionality
  • Experience with Agile methodologies.
  • Guidewire certification in ClaimCenter is a plus.
  • Knowledge of other Guidewire modules (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter) is beneficial.
  • Experience with SQL and data analysis tools.
  • Candidate who is located in USA and have experience, previously working for a reputed organization in USA

 Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on Guidewire ClaimCenter.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance processes, particularly in claims management.
  • Experience with requirements gathering, process modeling, and documentation.
  • Proficient in Guidewire ClaimCenter configuration and customization.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
