Job Summary:
We are seeking a Guidewire DevOps Engineer with 5–8 years of overall IT experience and strong hands-on expertise in Guidewire application deployment, CI/CD automation, environment management, and production support. The candidate will support PolicyCenter (PC), BillingCenter (BC), and ClaimCenter (CC) applications and work closely with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to ensure stable and efficient releases.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and support Guidewire environments (DEV, QA, UAT, PRE-PROD, PROD)
- Perform build, deployment, and release management for Guidewire PC, BC, and CC
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, GitLab, or similar tools
- Automate deployments, configuration, and environment setup
- Support Guidewire upgrades, hotfixes, and patch deployments
- Monitor application performance, batch jobs, and system availability
- Troubleshoot deployment failures, environment issues, and production incidents
- Work closely with Guidewire developers and QA teams during release cycles
- Manage and support cloud infrastructure (AWS / Azure) for Guidewire applications
- Implement logging, monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery processes
- Ensure adherence to DevOps best practices, security standards, and documentation
Experience:
- 5–8 years of total IT experience
- Strong experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, Bitbucket)
- Experience in Guidewire deployment, release, and environment management
- Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and shell scripting
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure preferred)
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes (good to have)
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk, ELK, AppDynamics, or CloudWatch
- Strong production support and troubleshooting skills
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Strong understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD, and release management
- Good knowledge of Guidewire architecture and application lifecycle
