Job Summary/Objective:
As a Guidewire ClaimCenter Configuration Specialist, you will be responsible for configuring and customizing Guidewire ClaimCenter to meet the specific requirements of our claim management processes. Your expertise in ClaimCenter and the ACE certification will be vital in implementing and integrating claim-handling functionalities. The ideal candidate preferably has experience with the Guidewire Cloud Platform to leverage cloud capabilities for enhanced claim management.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize your Guidewire ClaimCenter expertise to configure, customize, and integrate the application to meet our client’s unique needs.
- Perform hands-on configuration tasks to ensure the successful deployment and integration of claim management systems.
- Guidewire Cloud implementation experience
- Proficient in GOSU programming language for code development.
- Skilled in configuring and customizing rules, events, entity changes, PCF configurations, Data Model changes, GW scripts (Gosu), and Gosu classes.
- Thorough understanding of the Out-of-the-Box (OOTB) ClaimCenter Data Model.
- Knowledgeable in Guidewire Messaging, Messaging Plugins, Web services, SOAP, REST, Batch Processes, Work-Queue, and Plugins (Authentication, Startable, etc.).
- Ability to create customized business-specific rules for validation, work assignment, and task execution, among other processes.
- Experienced in integrating data with external systems.
- Proficient in defining workflows, creating new workflow types, and attaching entities to workflows as context entities.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise to resolve configuration-related issues.
- Collaborate with the Guidewire Cloud Platform team to leverage cloud-based capabilities and ensure seamless integration with ClaimCenter.
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in configuring Guidewire ClaimCenter for P&C Insurance clients.
- Guidewire Cloud Platform experience is highly desirable.
- Proficient in Guidewire configuration tools, frameworks, and Guidewire studio.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders and team members.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality work.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
