Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Guidewire Project Manager with a strong development background to lead and manage Guidewire implementation and enhancement projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Guidewire applications, strong application integration and API expertise, and the ability to effectively lead cross-functional teams. Guidewire Cloud experience is a plus.

This role requires immediate joiners who can take ownership of delivery, stakeholder coordination, and technical guidance to ensure successful project execution.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of Guidewire implementation, upgrade, and enhancement projects.
  • Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and quality deliverables.
  • Provide technical leadership to development teams and guide them on best practices.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and technical teams to define project requirements.
  • Ensure smooth integration of Guidewire applications with external systems using APIs and integration frameworks.
  • Oversee application integration design and implementation.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to senior stakeholders.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues proactively.
  • Ensure compliance with SDLC processes, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and organizational standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement and delivery excellence across Guidewire programs.

Experience:

  • 12–18 years of overall IT experience.
  • Strong hands-on development background in Guidewire applications (PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, or BillingCenter).
  • Proven experience in managing Guidewire implementation or upgrade projects.
  • Good experience in application integration and API-based architecture.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery models.
  • Guidewire Cloud experience (nice to have).
  • Experience in stakeholder management and client-facing roles.
  • Prior experience in Insurance domain projects is preferred.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s degree is an added advantage).
  • Guidewire certifications (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of insurance domain principles (P&C preferred).
