Job Summary/Objective:
As a Java Frontend Developer, your main responsibilities will include complete frontend development of assigned use cases, adhering to quality and coding standards, and following the SCRUM process. You will be accountable for providing estimates and ensuring on-time delivery of assigned use cases. Punctuality, regularity, and being a team player are essential for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Accountable for complete frontend development of assigned use cases.
- Responsible to adhere to the set quality & coding standards, and adhere to the design.
- Responsible to follow the SCRUM process, attend all meetings, accountable for timely status updates.
- Accountable to provide estimates & on-time delivery of assigned use cases.
- Be punctual, regular, and a team player.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Total experience of 5 + years in end-to-end software development
- Responsible for front-end development. Have worked on Angular and java spring boot microservice applications for at least 2 years with more than 2 projects.
- Individual contributor and has a history of being part of a development team of at least 3 projects.
- Strong hands-on experience with Angular 2 and above
- Good knowledge of CSS 3, HTML 5, Bootstrap, JavaScript, RxJS, Ngrx, Ag-Grid, Angular Material.
- Strong in troubleshooting issues & providing resolutions.
- Be able to design their module and suggest improvement ideas.
- Can write unit test cases using Jasmine or Karma.
- Aware of software build and release process.
- Have designed (UX) for the module.
- Well-versed with working in the Agile way, knows Scrum methodology.
- Fluent in English. Excellent in communication.
- Be able to clearly give status updates and explain impediments.
- Excellent in picking up new technologies and skill sets while on the job. Self-learner
Good to have:
- Knowledgeable of PWA, CSS Flexbox.
- Exposed to Java, spring boot, and Maven.
- Good to have DevOps exposure – build process, quality & security checks.
- Self-learning qualities with a track record of picking up new skills while on the job.
- Team player & ability to learn new technologies
