Job Summary/Objective:
The role involves Qlik App Development and requires a Qlik Consultant with extensive experience in Qlik Administration and Development. The candidate will be responsible for various functional and technical requirements to contribute to overall project implementation, optimize Qlik applications, and create reporting systems.
Responsibilities:
- Participate and contribute to overall project implementation.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to present technical evaluations and review optimization techniques required.
- Perform performance troubleshooting and implement best development practices to minimize impact.
- Manage App Reviews and optimizations as part of the project.
- Create technical documentation for each optimized app.
- Collaborate closely with the Project Delivery Team to build and develop data models, dashboards, reporting systems, and data automation systems according to business requirements.
- Translate business needs into technical specifications and design, build, and deploy solutions.
- Drive change through innovation and process improvement, with the ability to report to management and stakeholders clearly and concisely.
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in using the Qlik Sense suite of products (QlikSense, QlikView, and printing) to develop reporting systems that integrate data from various sources.
- Utilize different data connectors like SAP HANA, BW, SQL, and RestAPIs effectively.
- Exhibit a strong understanding of Data Integration, Data Modeling, Data Transformation, and Data Visualization.
- Proven experience in App and Data model Development using complex and optimized queries.
- Capable of troubleshooting App Performance issues and providing clear guidelines and best practices.
- Possess understandable knowledge of ERP Systems and other BI solutions, with experience in Power BI being a plus.
- Solid understanding of Databases and reporting queries.
Experience:
- Possess 7+ years of relevant experience in Qlik Administration and Development.
- Familiarity with different data connections and data sources, as well as API integration.
- Experience working in a fast-paced agile development environment.
- Exposure to other BI tools such as Tableau and PowerBI is a plus.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certified as a “QlikSense Data Architect” and “QlikSense Analyst.”
