Job Summary/Objective:
As a Technology Consultant with a focus on SAP APO development, you will be a crucial part of our technology team, contributing to the success of our projects through your expertise in SAP-ABAP and APO development. Your experience and skills will drive the delivery of innovative solutions to enhance our supply chain management processes.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop innovative APO solutions.
- Analyze business requirements and propose technical solutions to address them effectively.
- Enhance and optimize existing ABAP code and APO functionalities.
- Utilize strong debugging and analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Independently manage technical aspects of projects, including solution implementation and client interactions.
- Stay updated with SAP APO developments and industry best practices.
Experience:
- 6 to 12 years of hands-on experience in SAP APO development.
- Participation in a minimum of 2 to 5 full lifecycle SAP implementation projects.
- Strong expertise in developing Reports, Interfaces, Conversations, Forms, Enhancements, and Workflows.
- Proficiency in OO-ABAP, Adobe Forms, and ABAP on HANA.
- Proficiency in debugging, analyzing, and enhancing standard ABAP objects.
- Strong skills in code performance optimization, following best practices, and utilizing HANA native features.
- Experience in OData, CDS, AMDP, and FIORI development.
- Proficiency in API Management, Webservices, and Restful ABAP Programming.
- Good knowledge of business processes with a focus on SD, MM, FICO, and WM.
- Effective communication skills for requirement gathering, analysis, and client interactions.
- Ability to propose and implement technical solutions independently.
- Knowledge/Experience of cross-platform skills is advantageous.
- Knowledge/Experience in ABAP – WebDynPro is advantageous.
- Knowledge/Experience in ABAP – Workflows is advantageous.
- Familiarity with any other cross-platform skills is a plus.
- Hands-on experience in developing Neptune apps with CSS is desirable.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Solid experience (6-12 years) in SAP-ABAP with a strong focus on RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows) delivery capabilities.
- Knowledge of JavaScript is a plus.
- Familiarity with HTML is beneficial.
- Willingness to travel based on project requirements is mandatory for SAP Consultants.
