Job Summary/Objective:
As a Senior Solution Consultant specializing in SAP APO (Advanced Planning and Optimization) and SPP (Supply and Production Planning), you will be a critical asset in delivering effective supply chain solutions. Leveraging your extensive experience in SAP APO and SPP, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our planning processes and contributing to our organizational success.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand supply chain requirements and propose effective APO/SPP solutions.
- Design, configure, and customize SAP APO/SPP modules to optimize supply chain planning processes.
- Participate in all phases of SAP APO/SPP implementation projects, including blueprinting, testing, and deployment.
- Utilize your expertise to configure APO Master Data and set up CIF integration with SAP ECC.
- Design and execute supply chain scenarios using APO/SPP tools to enhance planning accuracy.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
- Stay updated with SAP APO/SPP developments and industry best practices to drive continuous improvement.
Experience:
- Strong expertise (6-12 years) in SAP APO and/or SPP, with a focus on end-to-end supply chain planning solutions.
- Proven ability to participate in full lifecycle SAP APO/SPP implementation projects.
- Extensive experience in configuring and customizing SAP APO/SPP modules for demand planning, supply network planning, production planning, and optimization.
- Proficiency in APO Master Data setup and maintenance, including CIF (Core Interface) integration with SAP ECC.
- Sound knowledge of SNP (Supply Network Planning), DP (Demand Planning), and PP/DS (Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling) functionalities.
- Experience in configuring and optimizing supply chain processes, including inventory optimization and distribution planning.
- Proficiency in designing and executing supply chain scenarios using APO/SPP tools.
- Strong analytical skills for requirements gathering, gap analysis, and translating business needs into technical solutions.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and client interactions.
- Understanding of SAP APO data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
- Willingness to travel based on project requirements.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 6 to 12 years of hands-on experience in SAP APO and/or SPP.
- Familiarity with integration between APO/SPP and other SAP modules.
- Knowledge of APO/SPP data models, planning algorithms, and planning areas.
